I spoke to Hector often at Safeway as our children have been in school together for many years. He will be greatly missed as he was so friendly and kind. Such a light. Sending prayers to his family.

Mrs. Rodriguez and family,
I just was notified of Hectors passing and I'm very saddened and in shock. I am new to Facebook and recently connected back with him after 25+ years. He made me laugh so hard and was always so kind to me. When we were younger we went out and he let me sleep on the couch and he slept on the floor. I knew he worked at Safeway for a long time and was a dedicated employee. I am very upset I missed his funeral. I can say he was a real, true friend. I send my prayers during this difficult time.
Mrs. Rodriguez—your son, Hector, was a good friend to our daughter Corie. She worked with him at Safeway. He was so kind & helpful to her. She always had a Hector story to tell! He was a wonderful man. We continue to pray for you.
Hector was a very honest
Hard working man!
I had the pleasure of working with him a Graydon Manor. We kept in touch over the years.
He worked at Safeway. We always kept in touch.
GOD BLESS HIS FAMILY❤️
I want to offer my condolences to Hector’s Mom, Jodi and Devin. Hector was one of my employees at the Safeway in Leesburg for almost four years. He was an exemplary employee, often going out of his way to do things to help me within the store. I felt like he was always baling me out of some pickle I had gotten myself in. Hector always had a smile on his face and could turn the worst situation into a more positive one as he would do anything to try and make me laugh just like he did with everyone. Even after I left the Leesburg store, Hector stayed in contact probably completely unaware that he continued to brighten my days sending me memes on Facebook or just being his silly self. I cannot say enough good things about Hector. I will miss him dearly and I hope Mrs. Rodriguez, Jodi and Devin find comfort in knowing how much Hector touched people and made an impact on their lives. ❤️
Mrs. Rodriguez & Family,
We extend our deepest condolences in the loss of your love one Hector. We will always remember Hector with fondness and a smile on our face. Lifting up prayers for God's comfort and peace.

Hector was one special guy! He was always friendly and helpful as the evening security guard of our building, and never met a stranger! Hector will surely be missed, and I send my love and prayers to his loved ones.
