Helen Malone Harner's Obituary
Helen Malone Harner, 90, of Leesburg, Virginia died Sunday, February 8, 2015, at Capital Caring, The Halquist Memorial Inpatient Center.
She was born November 12, 1924 in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of the late George W. Malone and the late Lois Anderson Malone. Helen was one of nine children and her four brothers and four sisters all preceded her in death.
Helen worked as an assistant financial secretary in charge of community resources with Fairfax Hospital for 16 years, retiring in 1984.
She leaves her family to cherish her memory including her husband of 63 years, Harlan Lincoln Harner of Leesburg, and five children and their spouses--Michael and Sharon Harner of Cypress, TX; Stephen Harner of Rileyville, VA; Jeffrey L. and Denise Harner of Front Royal, VA; Laurie and Michael Warden of Great Falls, VA; and Brian Harner of Treasure Island, FL; 7 grandchildren--Matthew and Jeffrey T. Harner; Hayley, Lindsay and Kylie Warden; Colten and Chase Harner; and 1 great granddaughter, Cassandra Harner.
Services and interment will be private at a later date by the family.
