Helen G. Hurst's Obituary
Helen G. Hurst, 87, of Leesburg, VA, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Loudoun Hospital.
Born on October 6, 1927 in Loudoun County she was the daughter of the late Welby Grey and the late Mildred Dawson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her late husband, Charles Warren Hurst and her son, Stanley Warren Hurst.
She is survived by her children Mike Hurst and his wife, Wanda of Stephens City, VA, Gail Hawkensworth of Chattanooga, TN and Karen Hurst and her husband, Eric Wilmeth, of Leesburg, VA. She was a loving memaw to her grandchildren, Katie, Kevin, Stephen, Joshua, Rachael and David and seven great-grandchildren. Helen was a motherly figure to everyone she met and will be missed by all.
The family received friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel.
A funeral service was held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ron Sage officiating. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bloomfield, Virginia.
