Helen D. Scheier's Obituary
Mrs. Helen D. Scheier, 89 of Ashburn, Virginia went to be with the Lord, on Thursday, January 20, 2011, at Loudoun Nursing & Rehabilitation in Leesburg, Virginia.
She was born Tuesday, September 6, 1921 in Winthrop, Maine; she was the daughter of the late Dimitri Elia and the late Theona Telo Elia.
Helen attended business school prior to her employment at Forest Hill Nursing Home as a bookkeeper for many years.
Helen was predeceased by her husband of 63 years William P. Scheier, in 2008.
Mrs. Scheier leaves to cherish her memory, her three children, Judye and her husband Roger Valliere of Ashburn, VA, William and his wife Catherine Scheier of Brewster, MA, and Marie and her husband Steven Donnelly of Middleboro, MA; her sister-in-law, Anna Paieda of Flemington, NJ; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins family and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 28, 2011 at St. Theresa Catholic Church 21371 St. Theresa Lane Ashburn, Virginia 20147.
Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
