Helen Louise Moss' Obituary
MRS. HELEN LOUISE MOSS, 93, a life long resident of Leesburg, VA, passed peacefully at her home south of Leesburg with her family by her side on Thursday January 10, 2008. Mrs. Moss was born January 30, 1914 in Leesburg to the late Clinton and Mary Ramsey Harris. Her husband Mr. William Thomas Moss also predeceased her in 1996. Mrs. Moss volunteered for many years as a historian with the Oatland’s National Trust at the One Room School House this she attended during the 1920’s on Rt. 15 south of Leesburg. She was a member of the Church of Our Savior at Oatlands and loved spending time with family and gardening.
Mrs. Moss is survived by her daughter: Ann M. and husband Dan Clemons of Leesburg; a sister: Alice Donaldson of Leesburg; a granddaughter: Danette and husband Greg Goodall of Leesburg and a great granddaughter: Daisey Brook Goodall of Leesburg.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday January 16, 2008 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Cr. SE Leesburg, VA with Rev. Elijah White officiating. Interment will follow in Leesburg Union Cemetery.
