Helen Virginia Spring's Obituary
Helen Virginia Spring, age 73, passed away on April 4, 2006. A life long resident of Loudoun County, living both in Leesburg and Hamilton. Helen was born on July 14, 1932 to the late Lester H. and Hilda E. (Wilklow) Russell of Leesburg, VA. Helen leaves behind her beloved daughter, Joanne (Lewis) Lee of Leesburg, VA; 2 grandchildren, Jeremy and Erin Lee of Leesburg, VA; 2 brothers, Robert H. Russell of Paeonian Springs, VA and John David Russell of Interlaken, NY; and 4 Sisters, Shirley Marie Thomas of Winchester, VA, Ruth Ann Pierce of Purcellville, VA, Betty Lou Kinser of Davidsville, NC, and Susan Mae Cummings of Suffolk, VA; also numerous nieces and nephews. A brother, James Michael Russell pre-deceased her. Helen worked at Hazelton Lab for 28 years, where she was a Senior Lab Assistant until her retirement. She was a member of the Community Worship Center in Round Hill, VA, enjoyed volunteering for the Loudoun County Rescue Squad and working part-time at Ben Franklin in Leesburg, VA.
Friends may call on Thursday, April 6, 2006 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle SE, Leesburg, VA 20175, also where a Funeral Service will take place on Friday, April 7, 2006 at 2 p.m. Pastor Robert Glascock will officiate. Interment will follow at Hillsboro Cemetery.
