Henry Joe Lambert's Obituary
Henry Joe Lambert, 5 months, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024, at Children’s National Hospital in DC.
Henry was born on October 23, 2023, in Fairfax, VA to Nathan and Shantel Lambert of Sterling, VA.
He loved to put his hands in his mouth, play on his mat, and trace people with his eyes. He was exceptionally observant and aware of his surroundings. Despite his physical limitations, he was the happiest baby and would try to play and reach for his toys. His physical progression was remarkable given his medical diagnosis and truly showed how resilient and tough his soul is. He spent the first 32 days of his life in the NICU. Henry was a fighter and truly did everything to stay as long as he could with those he loved here on Earth.
He would light up when his mom would tickle him and kiss him. He loved to have conversations with his parents and brother, play in the bath, and splash in the water. He often held his dad’s hands for hours and loved to snuggle. Although Henry would sometimes get nervous when big brother came to play, you could tell he truly loved his brother.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Miles Jackson Lambert. He will be remembered by his Grandma Joan Lambert, Grandpa Jon Lambert, Papa Buddy Sanders, and Gigi Chris Sanders, and a host of loving family and friends.
Funeral services for baby Henry will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 22066 Circle Dr, Sterling, VA 20164.
