Henry Sanbower's Obituary
Mr. Henry Atlee Sanbower, 76, of life long of Lovettsville, Virginia, died Thursday, June 1, 2006, at home. Born on February 21, 1930 in Lovettsville; He was the son of the late Verna Sanbower and the late Bessie (Everhart) Sanbower. Mr. Sanbower served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a retired B& O worker after 35 years of service. Mr. Sanbower also farmed his entire life. He was a member of the Brunswick Moose Lodge, the Eagles #1136 of Brunswick and the American Legion Post 96. He is predeceased by his wife Pauline Sadie Sanbower in June of 2003.
He is also survived by his Daughters, Kathy (Sanbower) Myers of Lovettsville, VA, step daughter-Peggy Parker of West Palm Beach, FL, Sandra Frye of Frederick, Maryland
Donna (Sanbower) Shores of Lovettsville, VA, Son, Douglas Fogle of Lovettsville, VA; One Sister, Catherine Pfeifer of Frederick, MD, Brother, Reginald V. Sanbower of Lovettsville, VA; Thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Mr. Sanbower is also survived by a special person, Connie Connor and family of Brunswick, MD.
Arrangements are being handled by Loudoun Funeral Chapel 34 East Broad Way, Lovettsville, VA; where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Monday, June 5, 2006 and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral service will be at New Jerusalem Lutheran Church at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 6, 2006, with Pastor Andreas Armstrong officiating. Interment will be at Lovettsville Union Cemetery in Lovettsville, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Capital Hospice 6565 Lee Highway Suite 501, Falls Church, VA 22042-, or to Frederick Memorial Hospital Cancer Center, 111 Michigan Ave. NW Frederick, MD 20010.
