Herbert Emmanuel Flynn's Obituary
Herbert E. Flynn, 93, died at Heritage Hall on November 25, 2012. Herbert was born in Paris, Virginia, to Robert Franklin Flynn and Elizabeth Virginia Trenary. He was predeceased by his parents; his brothers and sisters; his wife, Dorothy Louise Hough Flynn; his son, Shirley; and daughter, Betty Jane. Herbert is survived by his son, James Flynn (Linda) of Leesburg; daughter-in-law, Sandra Flynn of Leesburg; a granddaughter, Casey Flynn-Lichty (Brian) of Culpeper; a grandson, Jamey Flynn (Amy) of Berryville; and two-great grandchildren (Alex Lichty and Andrew Flynn).
Herbert lived most of his adult life in the Lucketts and Leesburg area. For years he drove a milk truck for L. C. Carr, was a mechanic for Howard Gill and Ector Chevrolet and animal care custodian at Hazleton Labs.
Funeral services will be conducted at Loudoun Funeral Chapel in Leesburg, Virginia, on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 11 am. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral from 10 to 11 am.
Burial will be at Union Cemetery following the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Loudoun County Volunteer Rescue Squad 143 Catoctin Circle, S.E. Leesburg, VA 20175.
