Herbert H. Jeffries' Obituary
Herbert H. Jeffries, 68, of Leesburg, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, August 26th, 2021 under the exceptional care of Blue Ridge Hospice.
Besides being a devoted husband and father, Herb was a career employee of United Airlines, an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, and a junk-food aficionado— in that order. Although he travelled occasionally, Herb especially enjoyed staying home surrounded by the familiar. Known affectionately as “Pappy” to those closest to him, Herb’s world revolved around his wife of 47 years, Linda; his daughter, Medora Stevie Smith (David) of Leesburg; his son, Jay Jeffries of Culpeper; and the two grandchildren he adored: Ashley Smith and Ryland Jeffries.
