Hilda Green's Obituary
Hilda Marie Day Green, 63, of Leesburg, VA, died on January 21, 2006 at the Loudoun Hospital Center at Cornwall in Leesburg. Daughter of the late Maria Marie Daye. Born on September 30, 1942 in Hamilton, VA. The youngest of four children. Hilda attended Carver elementary school in Purcellville, and Douglass High School in Leesburg.
Hilda was a member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church in Hamilton and also attended the Greater Zion Baptist Church in Ashburn. Her hobbies were working word Puzzle Books and playing Bingo.
Hilda worked with the Fauquier Loudoun Day Care, and the FAA in Leesburg. She worked in various domestic jobs around the county for friends and counties.
She is survived by her ex husband Walter F. Green of Leesburg, and five daughters: Jacqueline S. Day of Reston, Vanessa E. Green of Leesburg, Terresa D. Lorraine C. and Kelley R. all Green of Leesburg; two sisters: Maxine Phillips and her husband Arthur of Leesburg, and Bertha Day of Leesburg, and brothers Leonard Daye, 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a host of other cousins, family and friends.
Friends may call the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, on Friday, January 27, 2006 from 1 to 2, where funeral services will follow at 2 pm. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Bapist Church Cemetery in Lincoln.
