Hugh Gudger's Obituary
Mr. Hugh Adams Gudger, age 78, of Lovettsville, Virginia, died Thursday, May 25, 2006, at Sunrise Assisted Living of Leesburg in Leesburg, VA.
Born on November 27, 1927 in Winston Salem, NC; He was the son of the late Troy Colen Gudger and the late Thelma Woods (Adams) Gudger. Mr. Gudger served his country in the United States Navy and Marines.
He was an Operations Officer with Dulles Int. Airport until retiring in the early 1990''s after twenty- five years of service. He was a life member of the Lovettsville Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department and a member of the Freedom Lodge #118.
He is survived by his daughter: Nancy (Gudger) Collins and son-in-law: Ray of Lovettsville, Virginia, Sister: Savonne Columber of Rockville, Maryland, and numerous nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Mrs. Louise Foster Gudger in Jan. of 2005 and a son John Richard Gudger.
Arrangements are being handled by Loudoun Funeral Chapels Lovettsville, Virginia. A memorial service will be held at Lovettsville Fire & Rescue Squad at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 3, 2006.
