Ira Blair Shobert's Obituary
Mr. Ira Blair Shobert, 89, of Hamilton, VA, died Saturday, April 21, 2007, at Heritage Hall Nursing and Rehab. in Leesburg, VA. Born on December 17, 1917 in Brookville, PA.
He was a son of the late Perry Shobert and the late Alice Myriah (Lindermuth) Shobert. Mr. Shobert worked as a Custodian for Brookville Hospital and for Brookville Glove Factory.
He was a member of the Brookville Eagles #983 for over 50 years. Mr. Shobert moved to Hamilton four years ago to live with his niece.
He is survived by his niece Clara Vogel of Hamilton, VA. He predeceased by two sisters: Mayme Beck of Detroit, MI, and Angeline Rabuck of Brookville, PA, and two uncles: Frank Long of Glassmore, PA, and Merle Long of Brackenridge, PA.
Interment will be held at a later date in Worthville Cemetery, Worthville, PA.
