Jack Sanford Owens' Obituary
Jack Sanford Owens, 66, of Round Hill, VA, died Monday, December 3, 2007, at INOVA Loudoun Hospital Center in Leesburg.
Born on January 17, 1941 in Washington, DC. He was a son of the late Willis Sanford Owens and the late Eva Laura (Herman) Owens. Mr. Owens served his country in the US Army in the early 1960s. He was stationed in Arlington where he served on the honor guard.
A flooring salesman for many years, Mr. Owens was the former owner and operator of Fifth Street Floor Covering in Warrenton until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife Carmen Owens of Round Hill, his daughter, Laura & her husband Randy Virts of Bentonville, VA, one sister, Betty McCauley of Front Royal. He is also survived by three nieces, cousins, other family and friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Loudoun Funeral Chapels, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE 20175, Leesburg, VA where friends may call from 10 to 11 and where funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM Friday, December 7, 2007, Rev. Jim Wishmeyer officiating. Interment will follow at Panorama Memorial Gardens in Strasburg, VA.
