James Edward Barker Sr.'s Obituary
James Edward Barker Sr., 77 of Leesburg, Virginia passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at his home surrounded by his family.
Born Wednesday, March 27, 1940 in Whitby, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Carl and Evelyn (Maxey) Barker.
He is survived by his wife Betty Jo (Cornell) Barker and their children: James Edward (Cynthia) Barker Jr., Carl Glenn Barker Sr., daughters: Susan Renee (Zachary) Campbell, Pamela Jo (Douglas) Smith and Robin Dianne (Timothy) Gordon, grandson Carl Glenn Barker Jr., sister Velda Phillips twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Fred Barker.
A Graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday December 23, 2017 at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery 13266 Taylorstown Road Leesburg, VA 20176. A visitation will be held Friday December 22, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle, SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175.
