James John "JJ" Bolton's Obituary
James John Bolton, lovingly known as “JJ,” of Leesburg, Virginia, passed away on August 17, 2025, at the age of 52.
JJ was the devoted husband of Jennifer Bolton, and the proud and loving father of Kaitlin Bolton and Christian Bolton. His family was the center of his world, and he was known for his unwavering dedication—he would do absolutely anything for them.
He is also survived by his sisters, Bonnie Cook, Amy Joseph, and Tiffany Grygo, along with his brothers-in-law, Chris Joseph and Aaron Grygo, who all cherished the warmth and love he brought to their lives.
JJ was predeceased by his beloved parents, Jim and Barbara Bolton, whose values and love shaped the man he became.
Beyond his family, JJ made a lasting impact in his community as a baseball coach. He dedicated countless hours to mentoring young athletes, instilling in them not only the skills of the game but also lessons in teamwork, perseverance, and character. His influence reached far beyond the field, and he will be remembered by many whose lives he touched.
JJ’s legacy is one of love, generosity, and service—to his family, his friends, and his community. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A memorial service for friends and family will be held on Thursday, August 28, at 2:00 PM at Loudoun Funeral Chapel & Crematory. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM.
