James E. Feeney's Obituary
JAMES E. “JIM” FEENEY, II, 51, of Potomac Falls, VA since 1992 died on Tuesday, May 4, 2012 at home. Mr. Feeney was born in Washington, DC June 18th 1960 to the late James E. and Winifred M. Judge Feeney. He grew up in the McLean, VA area and graduated from Langley High School. He was the sole proprietor for JEFCO Corp., a heating and air conditioning company. Mr. Feeney was a true outdoorsman. He had earned his US Coast Guard Captain’s license and an airplane pilot’s license over the years and enjoyed deep sea fishing, jet skiing, dirt bike riding, and drag racing his Cobra Mustang. Mr. Feeney was a friend to all that met him.
Mr. Feeney is survived by his beloved wife Marjorie Patterson Feeney of Potomac Falls; two sons from a previous marriage: James E. Feeney, III and Sean P. Feeney both of Potomac Falls; three sisters: Patty Xander (Bob) of Clifton, VA, Joan D’Agostino (Jim) of McLean, Janet Sabo (Richard) of Fairfax, VA and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends called at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel in Leesburg, VA on the evening of Monday, May 7th 2012. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, May 8th at the Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Potomac Falls, VA with Father Schierer as celebrant. Interment followed in Columbia Gardens Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
