James Robert Forsyth's Obituary
JAMES ROBERT FORSYTH, 60, of Purcellville, VA, passed on April 1, 2026.
Born on May 2, 1965, in Pittsburgh, PA, Jim was the son of the late Paul Forsyth and Mary Patricia Forsyth.
Jim received his education from Penn State University, served in the United States Air Force as a Technical Sergeant, and later spent over 36 years working for NVR Inc. through various accounting and finance roles.
Jim loved to work in his yard, snowboard and plan adventurous family vacations. He struggled with his health this past year but held onto hope. Peacefully he passed surrounded by his loving family.
Jim leaves his family to cherish his memory including his wife Valerie Jean Remy Forsyth, and their four children Colin Forsyth, Carson Forsyth, Victoria Forsyth, and Carter Forsyth, his siblings Paul Forsyth, Susan Forsyth, John Forsyth, Patti Walk, Janet Amato and Tommy Forsyth.
A memorial to celebrate Jim’s life will be held in Pittsburgh this summer.
