James Patrick Francis

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Pat Francis on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the age of 71, in Leesburg, Virginia. Born on September 29,1953 in Falls Church, Va.
Pat was a kind generous soul, smart witty and whose patience knew no bounds. One of his goals in life was to meet as many people as possible, being a wonderful conversationalist. Loving to entertain. Pat also loved to travel whenever the opportunity presented itself, crossing from coast-to-coast multiple times.
Pat graduated from George C Marshall High School class of 1971. Also, graduating from Virginia Tech as a Political Science Major. His career was as Senior Vice President for First Virginia Bank. After retiring he drove a school bus for the County of Loudoun Department of Transportation with special education children. While also running the J. Patrick House Bed and Breakfast in Loudoun County Virginia.
He is survived by his wife Patty Van Atta, Sisters Elizabeth McRaney, Coleen Van Atta, Michaela Francis multiple Nieces and Nephews and grand Nieces and Nephews.
