I thoroughly enjoyed watching the tribute video for your Dad. It brought back such great memories of the times your Dad would visit with my Dad (Charlie Mayes) and the two of them would joke together and talk shop about Safeway. My Dad also was a Produce Manager and worked at Vienna, Leesburg, Purcellville and finally Berryville during his career. I don't recall if they ever worked together in the same store, but I know they visited often and we would visit your Mom and Dad as well and see them at the Safeway picnics. Even as a kid I could tell your Dad was such a kind gentle person. I last saw him and your Mom in 1990 when we gave a surprise 80th birthday party for my Mom in Winchester. Uncle Jimmy was the best! He also had the best grapes, which I got into all the time when I was a kid.
He would tell me all the time "Janice, stop grabbing grapes n vines, did I listen NO.

Uncle Jimmy, Aunt June and my cousins, Tom, Linda and Tricia spent lots of time together, especially in the summer months.
My wonderful grandparents, Phil & Mildred Goss lived right next door!
All of us grandchildren use to take turns spending a week In the summer time.
I cherish those times and many memories.

Uncle Jimmy, I'm sure if there are grape vineyards in Heaven, You will be in charge of them and one day when I go to Heaven, I'll be right beside you, eating grapes.
