James Kirkwood's Obituary
James David Kirkwood, devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, died suddenly at home on December 30, 2007. A life long resident of Loudoun County, he graduated from Leesburg High School then served his country in the US Navy. He was employed by the County of Loudoun for 38 years.
He is survived by Margaret, his wife; daughters Susan Kirkwood-Koenig (Mark) of Nashville, TN, Kathleen Jeffries (Jeff) of Berryville, VA, Barbara Trask (Bruce) of Sterling, Nancy Kaukeinen (Thomas) of VA Beach, VA, Linda Montoya of Ashburn, VA, and son James David Kirkwood, Jr. of Alexandria, VA; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Marc and Zachary Price, Brian, Ashley & Matthew Kaukeinen
Mitchell Koenig; sisters, Ruth Baumgartner and Virginia Browning; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9pm on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA 20175.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at 1:00pm at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Herndon, VA.
