COL James Lewis McLaughlin USA (Ret.)'s Obituary
COL (Ret). JAMES LEWIS MCLAUGHLIN , 87 passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025, in Leesburg, Virginia.
Born August 2, 1937, in New York City, he was the son of the late Brig. Gen. Frank McLaughlin and the late Charlotte Casey McLaughlin.
Jim leaves many to cherish his memory including his beloved wife of more than 61 years, Mary Jane Gabor McLaughlin, his children, Julie McLaughlin, Geoffrey McLaughlin, David McLaughlin, and Jennifer Matthews together with their spouses, 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A Catholic Mass will be offered at 10:00 AM on Friday January 17, 2025 at Saint John the Apostle Catholic Church located at 101 Oak Crest Manor Leesburg, Virginia 20176. Following a reception at the church, the burial with military honors will follow at the Culpeper National Cemetery Annex at 3:00pm.
