James A. Pierpoint's Obituary
James A. Pierpoint, 80, of Greenspring Village, Springfield, VA, formerly of Leesburg, VA, died at Inova Fairfax Hospital on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007. He was born in Washington, D.C. on May 6, 1927. He was the son of the late James Arthur Pierpoint and Anna Virginia Wrenn of Paeonian Springs.
He was employed be Loudoun National Bank, which became First and Merchants Bank, for 35 years. After his retirement in 1983, he owned the Robin’s Nest Antique Shop in Leesburg for many years.
His wife Elizabeth Saunders Pierpoint predeceased him in 1997. He is survived by his devoted daughter, Elizabeth P. Bradley of Springfield, VA, and grandson Taylor F. Bradley also of Springfield. Other survivors include his sister Jane P. Lynch of Phoenix, AZ, and brother Robert N. Pierpoint of Round Hill. He was predeceased by a sister Helen P. Myers in 2006.
Graveside services and interment will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 11:00 am at Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.
