James W. Holtzclaw, Sr.'s Obituary
James W. Holtzclaw, Sr., 73, of Terra Alta, WV, formerly of Leesburg, died Saturday, November 14, 2009, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgan Town, WV. Born on April 2, 1936 in Leesburg, VA. James was the son of the late Austin Holtzclaw and the late Elizabeth Russell Holtzclaw. He was raised in Lucketts. He worked as a truck driver and farmer on James McKimmey Farm for 32 years.
James was an avid Redskins fan. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife: Margaret Holtzclaw, of Terra Alta, WV; four children,
James Wesley Holtzclaw, Jr., Rickie Lee Holtzclaw, both of MD; Angela Lee Maddox, Harpers Ferry, WV, and Jeffrey Michael Holtzclaw, Sr.
He is also survived by his two sisters, Hazel Carter, Hamilton, VA and Anna Thomas, Lovettsville, VA; and a brother: Clarence Holtzclaw, Leesburg, VA; and Three Grand Children.
Friends may call on Thursday, Nov. 19 from 6 to 8 pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesubrg, VA.
Graveside services and interment will be held at Leesburg Union Cemetery at 1:00 PM, Friday, November 20, 2009.
