My sincere condolences to the Verfurth Family upon hearing about the passing of Jan E. “Pete” Verfurth. I am truly sorry for your loss, he will be missed and never forgotten. He was an extraordinary man who was truly an officer and a gentleman whom also enjoyed a good story ending with his hearty laugh and twinkle in his eyes. His kindness and generosity was admired. I consider myself lucky to have known him.
May the family take comfort of memories of happier times during this sorrowful time and help bring peace. God rest his soul.
