Our deepest sympathies to the Gable family. Bob & Joan
Dear Brad and Janie,
My heart just broke for you both upon seeing this notice this afternoon. Although I may have only formally "met" your Mom one time, I can still recall sitting in the kitchen with her way back in... it must have been about 1982. I can still envision her in the kitchen and her bright aura that truly lit up the room. All these years I have remembered her as one of the most joyous people I have ever met.
Over the last 43 years, I have thought of that peaceful day in the kitchen with her every time I've passed the unmissable Gable's yellow house on King Street and I still feel a little jolt of happy every time! What a lady, a queen and a true inspiration. She had something good to share with every single one of us.
Big Hugs to your family Brad and Janie. May the joy that your Mom gave to all who knew her reflect back to you a thousandfold and give you strength through these days and all those to come.

Very sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful outgoing lady
Mrs. Gable was an amazing lady. Her light and beauty will continue to shine through her amazing children, to whom I send much love and infinite prayers. What an amazing family she cultivated! Joan Dillon Sloyan
Ms Janie had a way of making everything bigger, better and more special. Such sparkle and humor! Your families are in our hearts
Jane and I have been friends for over 60 years. From the minute we met in college and became sorority sisters and roomies. we became inseparable and above all, loyal confidants no matter what! We shared secrets, laughter and many good times together with our families and each other. No matter where we lived (never in the same state!) we kept in touch and our long, phone conversations to "catch up" were always a joy and often just what I needed! I will miss her SO MUCH.
Janie and Brad....your mom was a very special lady. You and your families meant the world to her. She was so proud of each of you. May all your wonderful memories be a comfort to you as you mourn her passing. She'll always be watching over you from her heavenly home.
Brad and family,
I’m so sorry to hear of your loss and hope that you have some peace and comfort in the coming days. May your mother R.I.P.
Darlene, Jermaine, and Travis
You and your family are in my thoughts. Big Jane was a remarkable person. I am so sorry for your loss.

We will always remember the moments we were lucky enough to share with our Queenie. She was always up for a stylish-hello hug, so quick to smile and always had something funny to say. She will be greatly missed.
