Jane Alberson Wootton's Obituary
On October 25, 2010, Jane A. Wootton of Annandale, VA, passed quietly at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Leesburg, VA. Jane was born on Turner County, GA, to Guy Otto Alberson and Lucille Fletcher. She came to Washington in 1945 to work at the Pentagon, and married returning Marine John J. Wootton of Detroit, MI. They were divorced in 1960, and she went onto a long career in the Hospitality Industry at the Marriott Twin Bridges and the Sheraton National hotels. Jane was a lively and outgoing person and a caring and giving friend to all. Jane's family includes two sons, Joseph Wootton and Michael Wootton; daughter and son-in-law Diane and Rob Huyett; grandsons Justin Kearney and Michael Robert Wootton; great grandson Michael Ivan Wootton; as well as ?ve surviving brothers and sisters and a large extended family in Georgia. Services and burial will be at Live Oak Cemetery in Ashburn, GA at a later date.
