Janet A. Cursi's Obituary
Janet Cursi, age 72, of Leesburg, VA, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at her home in Leesburg, VA.
She was born in Washington, PA the daughter of the late C.E. Ames and Irena Ames.
Janet graduated from California State College of Pennsylvania with a BS in Education. She spent the next 14 years teaching 3rd and 4th grades in Canon McMillan, PA and Fairfax County, VA public schools. After spending time as a full time Mom, she worked for Loudon Medical Group in Leesburg, VA.
She is survived by her husband Vincent R. Cursi of 48 years, son Chris (wife Alyssia) Cursi of Salem, VA, daughter Cara Cursi (fiancé John Nolan) of Bristow, VA., sister Ghyneth Rowdon of Sterling, VA and two grandchildren: Willow and Calder Cursi.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
