Mrs. Goldfogle was a great teacher for my daughter but she was also a mentor for my late wife as she got into teaching. She inspired my wife to become a great teacher too. I’m glad she lived a good long life.

I was a 2nd grade student of Mrs. Goldfogle, in Big Rapids. I still remember her reading James and the giant peach and how she always had a kleenex in her sleeve. She was so kind. She lived in the same neighborhood and we would join her and Mr. Goldfogle on walks in the evening. I remember one walk, looking at the moon and they told us it was God's toe nail. Ha I often think of that memory looking at the moon today. She made a long lasting positive impact on my life. I am sorry for your loss but happy to hold these special memories of my dear 2nd grade teacher.
