Janet Wyman's Obituary
Mrs. Janet Louise Wyman, 84, of The Villages, FL, died on September 22, 2008, at the Loudoun Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Leesburg, VA, after a short illness. Janet Louise Kenworthy was born on February 10, 1924, in Chicago, IL. She was the daughter of the late Harold Kenworthy, the late Agnes Anderson Kenworthy, and the sister of the late Harold Kenworthy, Jr. Janet married her husband of 61 years, Donald E. Wyman, on October 20, 1945. The couple lived in Conneaut, OH, from 1952 to 1979, and in Greenville, PA, from 1979 to 1996. They retired to The Villages, FL, living there from 1996 to 2008. While living in The Villages, she was an active member of St. George Episcopal Church. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who put her family first. She enjoyed playing bridge, golf, and watching her extended family grow.
She is survived by her four children, Gail R. Tomlinson of Potomac Falls, VA; Pamela Wyman Salas of Fairfax, VA; Donald H. Wyman of Duluth, GA; Barbara Ballard of Plano, TX; thirteen grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Services and interment will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Wyman’s memory to St. George Episcopal Church, 1250 Paige Place, The Village, FL 32159.
