Jason Andrew Halvorsen's Obituary
JASON ANDREW HALVORSEN, 47, of Round Hill, Virginia passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at his home in Round Hill, VA. Jason was one of the funniest and most caring people you would ever want to meet. Beloved husband, son, father, brother and friend—he was a rare and special light that went out way too soon.
Born September 27, 1977, in Bethesda, Maryland, he was the son of Olaf and Rose Mary Halvorsen. Married for 18 years to his beloved wife and best friend, Robin Halvorsen, he was the father of two amazing children, Kailey Alyssa Halvorsen and Logan Jacob Halvorsen. Jason was younger brother to Erik Halvorsen and “fun” uncle to Dylan and Hunter Halvorsen, Ryan and Drew Coyle, and Bri, Jovane and Orlando Jones.
Jason leaves behind many to cherish his memory including loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, in-laws, and lifelong friends that he has known since childhood.
Sports was always a big part of Jason’s life. From spending long weekends at the Little League fields in Sterling growing up, or golfing on the weekends with his dad and brother to more recently coaching and cheering on his kids as they exceled at Softball and Baseball.
The family will receive guests for a memorial visitation from 1:00pm to 2:00pm ET at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cir. SE Leesburg, VA 20175. A celebration of life will follow at 2:00pm ET.
In recognition of Jason’s patriotism and support of our veterans, in lieu of flowers donations can be made in Jason’s honor to https://www.garysinisefoundation.org
