"Pam and Jack" define generosity and kindness. I will remember and be grateful for how I knew Jack. A true gentleman. Jack's quiet and gracious ways made everyone instantly comfortable and left them feeling welcome in his presence. We have so many fond memories of our families growing up together in Virginia. Jack was always the hero of the neighborhood youngsters with his annual Independence Day fireworks. He was certainly our hero as well. We shall miss him greatly.

I worked with and for Jack from 1986 until his retirement in 2007. I have had many bosses in my career, however Jack was the most brilliant, articulate and visionary boss for whom I ever worked. He gave me a tremendous opportunity, allowed me to spread my wings in ways that enabled me to do what I've been doing for the past 10 years as an expert witness and consultant.
He was not only "book-smart" and highly intelligent, but possessed practical intelligence as well -- knew his way around the toolbox, home construction, and automobiles. A rare combination of intelligence, insight and vision. I learned a tremendous amount from him and -- for that and for the opportunities that he gave me at Medmarc -- I will be eternally grateful. My condolences to Pam and Jack's family....
