Our sympathy to the Vorous family. Jean was a wonderful and very dependable substitute teacher at Leesburg Elementary School when Al Sowards was principal. She was a faithful and good member and worker in Woman's Club of Loudoun for many years. Over the years we shared with them 'tales' of travels far and wide both cruising and land travels. I knew Mrs. Vorous to be a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and to everyone she came in contact with. She and her husband of 76 years personified true soulmates and they radiated love wherever they were. I had the privilege of knowing them through their loving daughters, Debbie and Linda. Her attention to her art and various crafts left me in awe of her talent. Not to mention her green thumb when it came to her magnificent gardens. I enjoyed every moment I was able to spend with Mr. and Mrs. Vorous, as they were almost always together. I will never forget how lucky I was to celebrate their 75th wedding anniversary with them. May the Vorous family find solace that she is now with her Heavenly Father🙏🙏
