Jefferson Ray Moore's Obituary
JEFFERSON RAY MOORE, 79, of Leesburg since 1972 passed away on Friday, March 23, 2012 at home with his family by his side.
Mr. Moore was born December 13, 1932 in Moatsville, WV to the late Andrew K. and Blanche Sinsel Moore. Two sisters also predeceased him.
He served his country during the Korean conflict in the United States Air Force. Mr. Moore was a mobile lounge driver at Dulles International Airport from 1962 until his retirement in 1987.
He was a hardworking man, avid mechanic and enjoyed hunting in the past.
Mr. Moore is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years Deloris W. Moore of Leesburg; two children: Marilyn M. Hutchison and husband John of Winchester, VA, Rory A. Moore of Leesburg; two brothers: Andrew C. Moore, Robert Moore; a sister: Jean Marsh; five grandchildren: Shannon Utterback, Lynda Moore, Monica Moore, Victoria Moore, Megan Moore; five great grandchildren: Madelynn, Katelynn, Caralynn, William, Nikki and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, March 26, 2012 in Hillsboro Cemetery, Hillsboro, VA. Memorial contributions may be made to Evercare Hospice, 12018 Sunrise Valley Drive, Suite 400, Reston, VA 20191
