JEFFREY PHAM SCHONACHER's Obituary
Our dearest JEFFREY PHAM SCHONACHER, 39 of Ashburn, Virginia passed away suddenly, on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.
Born Monday, October 3, 1983 in Falls Church, Virginia.
Jeffrey was a graduate of George Mason University (GMU) and was employed as an IT Specialist by Department of Interior.
Jeffrey grew up in Vienna, Virginia with his family and while at GMU, did many juvenile things but always kept his fraternity brothers and sisters in-line. During these formative years he discovered his love for shooting large caliber weapons through a PlayStation controller and was ranked 17th on earth with over 35,000,000 confirmed KIA’s. Jeffrey was also passionate about rabbits; The Bugs Bunny operetta was his favorite cartoon ever (kidding).
His best friend, Matthew Noll, stated that it only took a short time to know that he was one of the kindest and most caring of people you could meet. His friendship with Jeff had a huge positive impact on his life and is unable to imagine how the future will be without him. But he will be sure to lead by his example of kindness, and true friendship as we forge ahead with their fond memories.
For his wife, Jennifer, Jeffrey was her whole world and she his. For the 5 years they were married, they traveled whenever possible with their favorite adventures taking place in Iceland, Alaska, and their intended home of Hawaii. When they weren’t traveling, they loved doting on their bunnies Mischa, Simba, and Jeff’s ‘bro’ Chauncey.
They never fought, constantly telling each other ‘I love you’ at least 10 times a day so there was never any doubt how they felt. The couple were truly meant to be; they never tired of being around each other, completing each other’s sentences, and often having the same thoughts at the same time. His wife said it was truly disgusting.
Jeffrey was a rock for so many people. He was truly the best of us. His sudden departure from us will be felt forever and never forgotten. Please keep him in your thoughts as well as his wife and family. He is watching us still and making sure that we are ok and safe. We all love you Jeffrey, now and forever.
He leaves his family to cherish his memory including his wife, Jennifer DeLauter Schonacher; his parents; Dennis and Kim Schonacher, his brothers, John (Nina) Schonacher, and Jason (Meagan) Schonacher.
He also leaves his grandmother in law, Mary Martinez; his mother-in-law, Anita DeLauter; his father-in-law, Richard (Amanda) DeLauter; his brother in laws, Jonathan DeLauter, and Benjamin DeLauter; as well as too many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends to name.
The family will receive friends for visitation, on Thursday, February 2, 2023) from 5:00 pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA.
Funeral services will begin at 6:00 pm on Thursday evening at the funeral home.
