Jerre George Lowe's Obituary
Mr. Jerre George Lowe, 80, of Ashburn, VA, died Friday, January 22, 2010, at INOVA Loudoun Hospital Center in Lansdowne, VA.
Jerre was born January 10, 1930 in Washington, DC, to the late John and Ella Lowe. After serving his country in the United States Navy, Jerre was employed by The Washington Post as a Photo Engraver. He worked for the paper from 1953 until retiring in 1988.
His wife Louise Bell Buckner Lowe predeceased him in 1992.
He is survived by two sons: Michael John Lowe & his wife Kathe, of Ashburn, VA; and William Patrick Lowe, of Centreville, VA.
Mr. Lowe is also survived by a sister-in-law: Annette Lowe of Wheaton, MD; three Granddaughters: Lindsay Perrault, Ashleigh Stocks, and Taylor Lowe; and three Great-Grand Children: Alyssa, Emily, and Braylan.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 6 to 8 pm, at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA 20175. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Catholic Church, St. Theresa Lane, Ashburn, VA, at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 27, 2010, Rev. Daniel Spychala officiating
