Jerry A. Haley Sr's Obituary
Jerry Ambers Haley was born on July 9, 1954, in Washington, DC. He was the third of eight children born to the late Harold E. Haley and Christine R. Anderson. He went home to be with the Lord on June 15, 2013.
Jerry accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. He carried out the greatest commandment to love one another by honoring his father and mother, helping and caring for senior citizens, sick and shut-in and neighbors in his community.
Jerry was a warm-hearted, caring and fun loving father, brother, uncle and nephew. He enjoyed a special relationship with his brothers and sisters. Jerry enjoyed sending birthday cards and calling family membersto keep in touch. He would make his rounds calling Boston, Georgia
and New York.
He cherished family gatherings and especially family reunions in the beautiful country side of Winchester, VA. One of Jerry’s favorite memories was his 55 birthday, when family and friends went to his home from DC for grand and joyous celebration.
Jerry leaves to cherish his memory, his sons: Jerry Haley, Jr.(Leslie), Larry Haile, Antonio Myers and Kevin Myers; his grandchildren: Jerryt Haley, Kenique Chrassman, Destiny Haley; his siblings:
Eric Haley, Ronald Haley, Charlene Hamilton (Bobby), Patricia Hawkins (Richard), Holly Haley, Phyllis Frazier-Young, Hillary Haley (Stephanie); Host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Aunts, Uncles and Friends.
He is preceded in death by his fiancé, Queen Victoria Myers and his parents, Harold E. Haley and Christine R. Anderson.
