In Loving Memory of Sh. Jitendra Mohan
Sh. Jitendra Mohan, a pioneering figure in the Indian telecommunications industry, passed away peacefully on Sept 24, 2023. He was 87 years old.
After graduating with a mechanical engineering degree from Roorkee
University in India, he dedicated his life to revolutionizing the
telecommunications industry by bringing mobile phones to the masses.
His innovative spirit and unwavering commitment to progress marked him
as a true visionary. His work took him on various international
journeys, including memorable trips to many countries like Australia,
Switzerland, Singapore etc. where he represented India and their telecommunications
achievements.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, he was a pillar of strength
for his family. Growing up, he lovingly raised his siblings. In his
later years, he selflessly cared for his beloved mother, bringing
comfort during her final moments.
Sh. Jitendra Mohan was surrounded by his entire family during his
final moments and leaves behind a lasting legacy through his three
children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. His memory
will forever be cherished by those who knew him.
In honor of Sh. Jitendra Mohan's long and extraordinary life, we
celebrate his achievements and the enduring love and happiness he
shared with his family. He will be fondly remembered by all who had
the privilege of knowing him.
