It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Joan Carol Widerkehr, 84 of Ashburn, Virginia, who passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024, in Ashburn, Virginia.
Born Saturday, September 30, 1939, in San Francisco, California, she was the daughter of the late Harry Eidswick and the late Amy Bogardus Eidswick.
Joan is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Robert Widerkehr; daughter, Wendy Illig (Frank); son, Robert Widerkehr Jr; granddaughters, Caroline Murphy (Patrick) and Paige Illig; Great Grandsons, Bennet Hayes Murphy and John Wiles Murphy.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday January 29, 2024, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle, SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175.
