It was a pleasure to be able to call John my Captain. It was also a pleasure that he allowed people to call him "John" outside of the firehouse setting. John put his all into everything he faced and he proved himself not only to be a brave firefighter but also a teacher to those who served with him in Brooklyn. And he not only taught me how to be a better fireman, he also taught me a thing or two when we had a chance between fires to play a round of cards. Rest In Peace John. It's a peace well deserved.
So very sorry to hear the sad news. Rest in Peace Uncle Johnny, you always had a special place in my heart. I am thinking and praying for all of you.
Love you, Linda and family

Rest in peace my friend, neighbor, great poker player and the best smack talker in our fantasy football league. You will be missed.

Tom, please extend our sympathy to your mother and family. A fine man who raised fine sons and daughters. I know that because I know you and they don’t get any better.

Heart broken to hear this. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Rest in Peace Uncle Johnny, watch over Aunt Mary and the rest of the Albans.
Alban Family,
I know Wilson Ave, Village Lane South, and Lawrence Place are a million years ago, but the image of Mr. and Mrs. Alban holding hands, walking over the bridge to town, is etched in my mind like it happened yesterday. Please know, despite the miles, and years, I hold you all in my heart, and send my love, and sincere sympathy. May God bless you and give you strength to endure such a great loss.

Mary, I'm so sorry regarding your recent loss. John was a good and funny man. I enjoyed playing poker with him and being a fellow team owner (he was a great trash talker) in our local fantasy football league. May he rest in peace.
