On Tuesday, December 5, 2017 in Martinsburg, WV. Loving son of Anna and the late John W. Bates, Sr. Father of Wesley Bates (Jacqulyn) and Zach Young and brother of Diane Hamilton (David). Grandfather of Hayden, Layla and Makenzee Bates. Uncle of Audri Stillwell and Joshua Hamilton and also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 6-8pm at Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA where a funeral service will be held on Friday, December 15 at 11am.
