Your picture is right in front of me at the computer and its hard not to look at it everyday... Robert said the other day he was looking at it... Cant believe that you are gone! Well bro its been 3 months since you left us... Hard to believe how time flys by. I guess this will be the last time I write on the guestbook,... I will be up soon to visit you at the cemetary... hey Brother... Today is one of those days that I woke up thinking of you. I miss you so very much... There have been so many times I wanted to pick up the phone and call you. It justs breaks my heart that God took you so soon. I know that you were very sick and I guess I am being selfish but I wanted you to stay just one more day!

I know that we did respect John's wishes when we buried him.. He always said he wanted to be close to our Mom... Well we got him as close as we could... I dont exactly know what was told to you... Maybe you should have spoken up if you thought we didnt respect him... I loved my brother very much... and to see all this crap going back and forth about his girls is silly... They are making their own decisions.. I have spoken to Kayleigh myself and just recently Emily called me to ask me a favor... So wherever you info is coming from may not be a good source... Just let things be and they will work themselves out... The girls are old enough to make their own decision, but I know for a fact that someone is not asking but telling them what they are going to do... So again just leave it alone.....in respect for John, his girls, and our family...

The family did not respect johns wishes when they buried him why would they rspect his wishes now that he is in a nicer place..away from all the pain and suffering. I am sure he is up there with his mom just getting getting upset with all that is happening.you know john and i were closer than he was with a few of his family members.......i can remember how he talked of his childrenand how much he wanted to be around and see them graduate.iI just wish everyone could get along for the sake of the girls. merry christmas to the family.##imported-begin##a friend of the family##imported-end##
John even though I never had the pleasure to meet you I feel the deep lose also from listening to your daughter, Kayleigh. My prayers goes out to your family for the emptyness in their hearts now that your in Heaven. It sounds like you were loved by so many. Kayleigh is an amazing young lady that so many have fallen in love with. I've never got to meet your other children. I pray that the Gant family will think of the children John has left behind. It sounds like there are some problems and I pray that the girls get to chose where THEY want and need to go and become a family with whom they feel most comfortable with. This is what John would have wanted and I hope you respect his wishes. Also give the same respect to his children. Let them use their own voices and LISTEN TO WHAT THEY WANT. Not what you want for them. Life is to short to fight over things like this. Let them be happy so they can grow up feeling good about themselves. Give them a chance.
