John Michael McCann's Obituary
John M McCann, of Leesburg, passed away unexpectedly on September 15, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.
In recent years, John had worked with his wife for C-Lutions, Inc., the company they founded in 1995. He developed software and business management processes for the US Navy. Prior to 1995, he worked for Legent Corporation (formerly Morino Associates), having started Morino’s technical operations in Europe.
John is survived by his wife of 30 years, Candyce; his sons Patrick and his fiancée Cynthia, of Jersey City NJ; Sean and his wife Elizabeth, of Aldie VA; and a daughter, Elizabeth, of Fairfax. He is also survived by his mother, Margaret McCann, of Asheville, NC; two sisters, Jeannie Vaughn and Irene Rodwell, both also of Asheville. Also mourning John are two sisters-in-law: Rebekah Nottingham and husband Ellis, of Arlington VA; and Debby Wolfe, of Mitchellville MD. There are many nephews, nieces, and great-nephews and -nieces who will miss their Uncle John terribly.
A memorial service for John will be held on Friday, September 25th, at 2:00pm, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel in Leesburg VA. Because of COVID restrictions, there is limited in-person attendance.
