John Francis "Jack" McGovern's Obituary
John Francis McGovern, 80, of Ashburn, VA, passed away peacefully on August 29.
“Jack” was the beloved husband of MaryJane, father to Charles (Mary), Elissa (Stephen) and John (Susan), grandfather to Tom, Emily, Grace and Nat, and friend to many.
The family will receive visitors on Monday, September 2 from 4 - 7 and Tuesday, September 3 from 2 - 4 and 6 – 8 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg VA.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 4 at 11 AM at St. Theresa’s Church.
Interment will follow in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Herndon, VA.
Jack loved flowers, but contributions may also be made to Guiding Eyes for the Blind, 611 Granite Springs Road, Yorktown Heights NY 10598.
