My deepest condolences to the Suttle family on John's passing. May his memory always be a blessing.
I served with John in the 1st Armed Division Public Affairs Officer in Bad Kreuznack, Germany in the 90s. He was a great leader and mentor and we had a lot of fun in Germany, Poland, the Czeck Republic, and Bosina.
My fondest memories of John include him talking about flying his Apache attach helicopter which he called his twin engine death chariot and quoting one of this favorite video game characters Duke Nukem, "It's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and I'm all outta gum!"
John, you definitely kicked ass in everything you did and will be missed by the many people who's life you touched.
