John was a walking Angel on this earth. He inspired me and Brought massive amounts of light to everyone he touched. Fly with the Angels my friend, and ride that Harley to heaven. 🦋 love you Susan Hyman.

In life you meet people and at times you meet one that you just know this is someone who I'm going to like to work with and be around. John was that guy. I would look forward to see hem and tell him a story just to get him to give me that laugh that only he had. We could tell same story over and over and still laugh as if it was the fist time hearing it.Working in Tampa now I wish we had a person like John. Great people and Great worker. Will be missed . I was the midnight Lead Technician at Dulles when I met John. I would get a turn-over from the Afternoon shift Lead and sure enough John and his partner Jim would always be the last to finish up. John was always the cordial one of the two. Such a pleasant person with a huge caring for others. I grew to really appreciate their humor and their hard work and dedication. John and I would talk about his Connecticut visits and we were going to meet up one day and go to dinner. Unfortunately, a job transfer to Newark eventually led to less frequent communications… I was shocked to learn about John's illness and passing. He definitely touched my soul with his good nature. I have shed a tear for our friendship. Rest in peace, my dear friend!!!
John always had a smile on his face and such love for his family. The video was a wonderful tribute. I'll be holding Betsy and the boys in my heart.
My best memory of John was back in September of 2008. A group of us mostly UAL mechanics were going to the first Moto GP race at Indianapolis Speedway. We met at the Waffle House in Winchester and John was there but he said he was only going to ride with us for a while and then turn around and go back home. Well we went through West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and I’m thinking when is John going back. He finally turned around at Columbus, Ohio ! He said on the way back he got so cold he had to stop and ge a place to stay be cause he was too frozen to go any further.
That’s what I loved about John. He was always doing crazy stuff. He made me laugh. I’ll miss him.
