John Paul Jones' Obituary
John Paul Jones, 65, of Leesburg, Virginia, died Friday, February 2, 2007, at INOVA Loudoun Hospital Center in Leesburg, Virginia. Born on July 4, 1941 in Winchester, VA. A son of the late David Jones and the late Sarah Lipton Jones. The youngest of nine children, Mr. Jones moved from Franklin Town, WV almost 40 years ago to Loudoun. He worked for Holt Construction in Strasburg, VA, and most recently for Loudoun County Public Schools as a custodian. He loved fishing and baseball.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Elsie Elizabeth (Trammell) Jones of Leesburg; two sons: Tech Sgt. David Crisp, USAF, and his wife Carolyn stationed in Tampa, FL, and Mike Jones and his wife Shawneik of Leesburg, VA, three sister-in-laws and 2 brother-in-laws; eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, 1 special niece Debbie Dolmean of Franklin Town, WV; plus a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Johns was predeceased by three sisters and five brothers.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday, February 8, 2007 and where funeral services will be held at First Mount Olive Baptist Church at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 8, 2007, Rev. Harold Stinger officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in Lincoln, Virginia
