John Preston Woodward's Obituary
JOHN PRESTON WOODWARD SR., 54, of Ashburn, Virginia since 1989 and owner of Preston Electrical Services in Ashburn, Virginia died on Wednesday December 13, 2006 in Lansdowne, Virginia. Mr. Woodward was born in Middleburg, VA to the late Isaac R. and Clara Nalls Woodward on August 31, 1952. He has lived in the Washington Metropolitan Area all of his life. Mr. Woodward enjoyed spending time at his country home in Del Ray, WV. He was a coach with Dulles Little League Baseball from 1996-2001.
Mr. Woodward is survived by his wife of 16 years Melody G. Woodward of Ashburn, VA; three children: Tara and husband Jason Busby of Arlington, VA, John “JP” Woodward and Melinda Woodward of Ashburn, VA; one sister: Clara Saunders of Gambrilles, MD; one brother: Dickie Woodward of Harford, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE Leesburg, VA with Rev. Cary Johnson officiating.
