Jonathan Lyle Gianiny's Obituary
JONATHAN LYLE GIANINY, 55, of Lovettsville, VA, formerly of Charles Town, WV, passed peacefully on July 17, 2009 at his home with his family by his side. Jon Gianiny was born April 20, 1954 in Washington, DC, to Lyle and Margaret Garrison Gianiny. Raised in Wheaton, MD, Jon was a talented drummer and played in the praise band at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Ashburn, VA. There he also helped build the sets for vacation bible school and Christmas services, as well as being an active home group member. Jon was presently working as a locksmith with Loudoun County Public Schools.
Mr. Gianiny is survived by his beloved wife of 13 years, Carol Elaine Gianiny of Lovettsville; his parents: Lyle and Margaret Garrison Gianiny of Locust Grove, VA; two step children: Jesse Edward Foy of Sterling, VA and Angela Elizabeth Foy Davis (and husband Nathaniel Davis) of Leesburg, VA, and two sisters: Carole Giacomazzi of Castleton, VA, and Lynn Gianiny of Greensboro, NC.
A memorial service will be held at 5pm on Tuesday, July 21st 2009 at the Church of Our Savior (Anglican) at Oatlands, VA with Pastor Clancy Nixon officiating.
