Joni L. Johnson's Obituary
Joni L. Johnson, 55 of Bedford, VA, passed on Sunday, September 11, 2016, in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Born Friday, November 25, 1960, in Leesburg, VA, she was the only daughter of the late Jesse Johnson and Patricia C. Johnson.
Joni was a school bus driver with Bedford County Schools.
She had also been an member of Arcola UMC and the Arcola Volunteer Fire Department.
Joni loved animals and was predeceased by her beloved cats, Midnight and Miss Kitty.
She leaves her family to cherish her memory including her mother, of Bedford, VA, grandmother, Julia Cornelius, Huddleston, VA, uncle - Michael Cornelius, Huddleston, VA, cousins, Karol Adams, Susan Cornelius, Michael Cornelius, Jr., Jennifer Weathers.
A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 6 to 8 pm at Tharp Funeral Home in Bedford, VA.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 17, 2016, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle, SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, prior to the funeral.
Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Bluemont, VA.
Memorial contributions may be made to Arcola UMC, or the Arcola Volunteer Fire Department.
A reception will follow at Harmony United Methodist Church in Hamilton, VA.
